bramor interlocking units

The project consisted of maximizing the existing two-bedroom first-floor level apartments. The result involved utilising the attic space to create two separate open-plan apartments, interlocking units. This was achieved by sharing the attic section which resulted in a first floor south-facing entertainment space with a mezzanine bedroom awash with light.

The north-facing apartment was illuminated by strategically positioning rooflights over the mezzanine area admitting natural light into an otherwise gloomy space. Both apartments have an area of 35 square meters but still contain a separate bedroom considering the confinements.
